We adopted Prince in November 2024, and from the moment we saw his photo online, we knew he was meant to be ours. We couldn’t stop thinking about him, and now that he’s part of our family, we can’t imagine life without him. He’s brought us so much joy and fulfillment, and judging by his happy tail wags, he feels the same way.
Prince is an energetic, fun-loving boy who thrives on adventure. He adores playing with other dogs, swimming, running, and, of course, burying his favorite bones. Mealtime is a daily highlight (breakfast and dinner are sacred events in his world), and his big personality shines through in all the funny sounds he makes – likely thanks to the hound in him. He’s sweet, goofy, and endlessly lovable, and we feel so lucky to call him ours.
We’re especially thankful to his foster mom, Stephanie, who cared for him so well before he came to us, and to the rescue for making the adoption process such a wonderful experience. The rescue originally named him ‘Crown Prince,’ and while we briefly considered renaming him, ‘Prince’ suited him perfectly – it’s fitting for our regal boy.
Recently, we connected with his family after doing a DNA test, which has been such a gift. Seeing where his siblings and mama ended up, and knowing they’re all thriving, makes his story feel ever more special.
